Does anybody know of any interesting paranormal photos / videos for us to have a look at and discuss?

Okay folks, a nice and easy one to start discussing. Can this video be rationally explained or can it be considered true evidence of ghosts and the paranormal?

Time to kick off this group with a video somebody linked to on a forum I frequent...

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-5249211265102263243&q=genre%3Ahorror+is%3Afree

The synopsis here is that someone was filming their dog when they spot a head peeping around the corner of their bathroom looking at them. The cameraperson goes to investigate but finds nobody there.

Unfortunately this video, despite having the potential of being really good fails well short of that. This video is an edit, pure and simple. The first part recorded has the accomplice in the bathroom peeping around the corner and then the cameraperson running to the door. Then the scene cuts to allow the other person to leave the bathroom so that the cameraperson can start recording again to show the room as empty.

The edit is really easy to spot. The shot shows the head and then saunters over to the door. When the view is fully of the door you can hear a noticeable click in the background whirr on the audio (turn up your speakers to hear it clearly) and the shot suddenly flicks to a lighter shade of grey. Since both of these happen at the exact same time this is undoubtedly a video edit.

Also, the caption at the end reads "This wasn't a fake. I've never had this fear before." If that was the case, why did the camera person seem to just saunter over to the bathroom after spotting the figure and then, after a few very tepid and badly acted "what was that?" type questions seem to just quietly saunter back out of the bathroom? The whole acting of the clip is very bad and put on and is definitely not what you'd describe as 'fear'. Come on - you've just detected an intruder in your home. Surely you'd be a bit more scared and wouldn't just walk straight over to see who it was - it may have been a burglar or something. And when you find that the figure has completely and totally vanished you don't go "oh" and slowly walk back out again.

100% fake.
